Part of Haddonstone’s Soane’s Collection, this bust has an ancient heritage. The original full-length cast is housed at the Museo Archeologico in Naples.
Hercules was believed to be the son of Zeus and Alcmene. He was a divine hero who was worshipped as the God of strength, sports and athletes to name but a few.
