About this project

Haddonstone’s experienced Building & Construction team was commissioned to manufacture a broad range of bespoke and standard cast stone components for this stunning new build private residence in Sunningdale, Berkshire.

Working closely with our client, we project managed the design and manufacture of all of the architectural cast stonework.

Each architectural component was handmade to order by our expert craftsmen in our own Northamptonshire manufactory.  Using a combination of both traditional processes and modern techniques, all of the stonework for this project was crafted to the very highest standard.

Each cast stone component was manufactured in wither our TecStone (wet-cast limestone) material or our TecLite (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete). 

Our client chose our classic Portland colour for each component, choosing to then paint each component in brilliant white paint, to match the rest of the property.

Cast stone architectural components

Our team produced a wide range of cast stone architectural components for this project.  These included:

• Façade stonework: a bespoke portico, featuring smooth, square columns
• Window dressings: including surrounds, bay window cills and hood moulds
• Wall dressings: copings and surface-fixed string courses
• Entranceway cast stonework: featuring gate piers and pier caps
• Landscaping components: copings and a classical temple.
