Plinth Courses

Haddonstone offer a range of plinth courses in cast stone as architectural embellishments for commercial or residential projects.  A plinth course is a continuous course of stonework, supplied in standard lengths , that is built into the lowest part of the wall of a building that appears above ground level.  A plinth course can be flush with brickwork or, more normally, projects from stonework or brickwork to form an attractive architectural design feature. Plinth courses are often used in conjunction with other architectural dressings such as string courses, band courses and quoins. Our Q530, Q540, Q560, Q570 and Q571 are the five standard string course designs and are illustrated below.

The Q540 plinth course matches the S120G pier base.
