Bringing all of the glory of ancient Siam to you in exquisite cast stone, Haddonstone have recreated this bespoke Royal Pedestal.
Standing at 1650mm high, this elevated pedestal planter has classical charm. The plinth has a square base, with detailed beading and features oval and arch design. Upon the plinth stand four cherubs whose arms are interlinked to support the planter on their shoulders.
The planter itself is decorated with a handcrafted woven design, sweeping upward towards a wide roll-top brim.

In 1782, Bangkok became the capital of Siam (modern-day Thailand) and the ancient ruins of the Bang Pa-In Palace complex were rebuilt. Popularly known as the Summer Palace, the gardens were filled with classically-inspired stone bridges and balustrades along the canal, which was surrounded by pavilions, statues and planters in beautiful white stone.
