Haddonstone Bust Chosen For New Gucci Fragrance Campaign

  • Gucci perfume photographed infront of the Haddonstone Bacchante bust

An antique Haddonstone Bacchante bust has been chosen by Gucci Beauty to feature in their new winter 2019 fragrance campaign.

The new Gucci Bloom scent, Ambrosia Di Fiori, was photographed in front of the aged Bacchante bust, as well as in two short promotional videos for the fragrance on the Gucci Beauty Instagram platform.

The name of the new Gucci scent is inspired by the ancient term, ambrosia, which was the sustenance of the Greek gods and was thought to give immortality to those who drank it.

Bacchante forms part of the Haddonstone range of classical busts and statues.  The design originated in Italy circa 1870 and depicts a reveller in the court of Bacchus, god of wine.  Featuring vine-entwined hair and a loosely draped robe, the bust is available to purchase new in a range of colours and can be used both outside and in an indoor setting.
