This newly constructed private residence in Surrey underwent a striking transformation with the addition of a bespoke Haddonstone portico.

Designed to create a sophisticated entranceway, the portico was crafted to harmonise seamlessly with the property’s existing façade stonework elements, including window cills and other architectural details.

The homeowner sought to elevate the aesthetic appeal of their entrance, opting for a timeless and elegant portico. They collaborated closely with Haddonstone’s Building & Construction team to ensure the design was in keeping with the overall architectural style of the residence.

Our solution

After a collaborative consultation, the team at Haddonstone designed and manufactured an exquisite cast stone portico that perfectly complemented the home’s smart aesthetic.

The portico features:

• A single smooth column with base and Tuscan capital detail
• An architrave
• Complementary cast stone paving

Each component was meticulously crafted in Portland colour, using both Haddonstone, a premium dry-cast material, and TecStone a superior wet-cast material.

The addition of the portico enhanced the grandeur of the property, providing a stylish and welcoming entrance.
