Haddonstone was commissioned to transform a large residential garden in Hertfordshire. The client was keen to develop a stylish design that would enhance their traditional walled garden, yet create a timeless and contemporary design. We worked closely with the client to develop a bespoke design that provided both practicality and a sharp, polished look.
The client was keen to emphasize the significant redbrick entrance-way to their garden and this was achieved through the installation of several cast stone steps and using pier caps and cast stone ball finials to enhance the top of the brick gate posts. A contemporary pool area was created through the use of cast stone steps, copings, a pool surround and the inclusion of additional pier caps and cast stone ball finials. To finish the design, the client included several complementary Haddonstone Elizabethan Jardinieres.
The entire landscape was completed using a combination of Haddonstone and TecStone material in Portland colour.
Haddonstone’s landscaping designs were chosen to transform the large, grand terrace at Seaham Hall, a 5* luxury hotel and spa in County Durham. We supplied custom made balustrading, to comply with building regulations and bespoke pool surrounds to create the elegant reflection ponds. We also produced ashlar walling blocks for the interior and exterior of the new spa complex at Seaham Hall, creating a strong architectural feature for the hotel’s residents and guests.
The spa was completed using TecStone material in Portland colour. The balustrading and pool surrounds were produced using Haddonstone material, also in Portland.
Haddonstone was commissioned by the Royal Horticultural Society to produce a bespoke fountain for the opening of the acclaimed Exotic Garden at RHS Wisley in 2017. Working closely with the designers of the new garden, our in-house studio team designed a truly unique, custom made fountain, the RHS Wisley Exotic Garden Fountain. Our team produced bespoke models and moulds in order to create the highly detailed pineapple finial and to incorporate stylised passion flower designs to the pedestals of this stunning fountain.
We also produced a handmade cast stone Medium Pool Surround for RHS Wisely, resulting in a beautiful centrepiece fountain at the heart of this visitor attraction. The fountain was produced in Portland colour using our TecStone material. The pool surround was also produced in Portland colour, but using our Haddonstone material.
Both designs are available to purchase from Haddonstone.
We transformed a private garden in Richmond by producing a cast stone pavilion incorporating Tuscan columns, a classical pediment and steps. Along one aspect of the garden we produced a bespoke pergola to add definition to the gravel walkway. We also supplied several ornamental features including Ham House Pineapple finials, seating, Adam Troughs and the Margam Swagged Urn on the Jacobean Pedestal.
The project was completed using Haddonstone material in Portland colour.
