The William Kent Door Surrounds
by Haddonstone are in the style of the prolific early XVIII
century architect William Kent, a great admirer of Inigo
Jones and a protege of the architect Lord Burlington. William
Kent’s sumptuous designs derived partly from the Italian
Baroque and partly from Palladio.
