Garden Buildings

A Garden building can be a shed. Haddonstone garden buildings are much more. Garden Buildings are beautiful landscape structures such as follies, obelisks, orangeries, pavilions, pergolas and temples, all magical in their appearance in the garden landscape.

Follies are extravagent garden buildings, primarily for decoration and magical in their appearance. Pergolas form shaded walkways with columns, usually supporting trained vines. Obelisks are tall tapering monuments with a pyramid-like shape at the top. Fashionable buildings of the past were orangeries, the name reflecting the buildings original use for growing citrus trees. Temples and pavilions are the ultimate free-standing garden structures, garden buildings of pleasure. Pavilions were built to take in the view.
